Postcard #9 Stonehenge

by | May 4, 2021

Here’s my ninth postcard from my Run the UK Challenge.

And with a longish yoga workout today I arrive at Stonehenge. (I am registering only my workouts on this Run the UK challenge, and not my daily steps.) As ever, I’m not responsible for the wording on this postcard because, of course, I wouldn’t  ever assume that I hadn’t seen any druids. What, after all, does a druid look like these days?

I think I have been to Stonehenge once, or maybe past it, but it was several decades ago. Here’s a bit about it. There’s quite a lot because it’s pretty historic. I didn’t know that there were remnants of earlier pine posts found, dating from several thousands of years before the stone structures were raised. I don’t actually know what pine posts are, to be honest. Anyway, enjoy. I don’t think my next postcard is for a while now.
