Postcard #8 – Salisbury

by | Apr 30, 2021

My eighth postcard from my Run the UK Challenge.

Today I ran through Salisbury. I don’t know anyone there, only acquaintances really, so I didn’t stop even though I hear that “it’s a wonderful town, famous throughout the whole world for its 123 metre spire and clock, the first one [of its kind] ever created in the world, which is still working.” Apparently. Anyway here’s a bit more about Salisbury for those who do stop there for a little while.

Apparently the spire is worth seeing at least twice. Especially if you are Russian and not used to seeing beautiful churches. Run on!!
