My Food Choice Map
You might remember that two years ago I did the Noom plan to try and change my relationship with food. I lost 11kg – more than a Raffles – and dropped three dress sizes, which makes a huge difference when you’re 5′ tall.
Well, I managed to keep most of the weight off but it’s now a battle with hormones, a decrease in walking about and bad habits that have crept in. So I decided I’d do Noom again for a couple of months to try and lose the 4-5Kg that have shimmered on like Jeeves.
This time around with Noom, I thought it would be more difficult to lose the weight because it’s just that last half a stone or so of excess that a lot of us carry. As it turns out, I’ve lost 3Kg in a month and can now fit comfortably into my smaller clothes so I’m quite happy.
I like Noom because, rather than being a restrictive Puritan miseryguts, it’s more like an encouraging friend in its approach. (I was introduced to it by encouraging friends too. Thank you Sarah and David x)
One of its exercises is the personal food choice map I did this morning. I thought my food choice influences were quite interesting so I’m sharing them here.
I love your description of Noom – an encouraging friend. Well done on the 3kg, that’s brilliant!
