January block
A basic granny square following a tutorial from Bella Coco. You don’t even want to know how many times I started and unravelled this square but that’s the beauty of crochet: it’s so easy to start again and next time is always quicker and more confident.
I had done these before but without enthusiasm and accuracy and, as in singing, counting is key in crochet. I managed to concentrate for the time it took to get my attempts right and I remember being pretty proud of the result.
We had a couple of days even in January where the temperature reached 26C, though the minimum was predictably cool.
