Today I proved to myself that it is not impossible for an “elderly” (according to some in then UK Government), slightly overweight, slightly asthmatic short woman to run 6.55Km up and down the hills of DB without stopping, wearing a facemask correctly the entire time. Hooray. Go me.
Now that I’ve done that, I can build myself up to longer routes again. It’s just a question of pacing oneself. It did help that it was 26C this morning and not 29C as it’s been, but if I can do that then there isn’t much excuse for the people I met running and walking either without masks or wearing them under their chin, is there? And while we’re at it Hong Kong: I know that you just love your unending game of Personal Space Chicken, but it doesn’t help me socially distance if you’re in a group that straddles the whole pathway or you lurch out in front of me at the last second. #JustSaying
Wow!
Go you!!
