Mong Kok
We paid a little trip to Mong Kok 旺角 this afternoon which, for one of the world’s busiest areas, was surprisingly pleasant. Strolling around, we ducked out of the famous Ladies’ Market. It’s a bit off-brand for this lady. We stumbled across this street stall selling fresh local delicacies. I couldn’t resist a stick of squid fried as we waited, but I passed on the tripe as it would have taken me way over my lunch calorie allocation. Next time, perhaps.
Have a look at some of my photos. There are little buses and orchids and signs for hotel rooms by the hour. I suppose that if you live in one of the most densely-populated places on earth, you’re going to need some privacy from time to time to keep it that way. Or not.
