I manage to avoid bigger fauna here – though knocking today I have seen water buffaloes with calf; cows; several sorts of bird; butterflies; some dogs and a few types of chicken – but these little ants crop up everywhere. I used my macro lens for this shot. On reflection, I should have been braver and used a manual mode and a tripod, because it was very difficult to get the mini beast in focus. Look how tiny he is. And the second picture is for scale, to show you just how tiny he is I hope they don’t bite.
