Eliza passed her driving test today, at the first attempt. It was twice as long as a normal test as they became stuck in traffic following an accident halfway through the test. I must emphasise that Eliza was in no way connected with the accident.
It’s been quite a week for Eliza, who received an AS level result yesterday too, which should be a good basis for next year’s real A levels. I must say that I was far more nervous about the driving test than about the exam. It’s a big thing: her independence.
