Flapjacks. The healthy option…NOT. Goodness, the amount of butter in them alone is enough to make your eyes pop. Delicious, though, and I had a sneaky corner even though today was supposed to be a fast day.
I’d been lusting after these even since I tried similar ones made by a fabulous cook at our dog class. Which is also on my normal fast day. The recipe comes from the BBC Good Food website. Next time I make them, though, I’ll cut up the prunes or whizz them in the Magimix. Left whole they look picturesque but they’re not easy to divide.
Well the prunes part of the flapjacks is healthy I’m sure, so perhaps one part balances out the other?
