No. I’m still not happy about this at all. 50 seems old but I feel about 25, but better, fitter, healthier, more soignée.
It was a quiet day. Lunch at La Rascasse was a delicious sausage sandwich but later we went off to my favourite restaurant in London, Galvin at Windows which was predictably lovely.
The Boywonder bought me a sun lounging chair; MsDD bought me an excellent book and I got a telephoto lens from the OH. I look forward to experimenting with it, though I’ll have to venture further than my bedroom window to achieve its full potential. A pity I didn’t know that we were going to a place in London with such a view or I would have taken it along there.
Still, here are some photos:
You may be 50, but you have the spirit, vivaciousness and joie de vivre of someone much younger. You also look like you are about 30. This is just the beginning of great things, and hopefully you will have enough self confidence to enjoy yourself.
Most kind James. Too kind really.
Sounds like a lovely birthday, all in all. xx
Yep. It was. 🙂
