…not quite, anyway.
I’d planned cauliflower risotto and salad and braised fennel. And inconveniently forgotten that I had only one ring on my one ring hob. I tried to improvise by boiling water for stock and then trying to keep it warm in the slow cooker, turned up to High but that didn’t work. It was edible but not exactly melting and the cauliflower was a little al dente.
Never mind. We live and learn.
Looks like cooking is going to be quite challenging for you over the next few weeks. When you finally have your new kitchen you won’t know yourself!
I suppose it’s good experience should you ever go camping …..
But I have only been under canvas once…..when I was 15…..and even at that age I didn’t like being so far away from room-service …..Lol
