I have been out or otherwise occupée for most of the day and shall be rising before dawn tomorrow so must go to bed and and attempt to sleep.
Such is my organisational turmoil that I didn’t even manage to do a daily building site post today. So this will have to do.
This is the concrete truck that delivered the first of the concrete to underpin our underpinnings, as a courtesies of old might have said. Tomorrow morning there will be concrete pumps trucks here as the team of builders will be pouring foundations for the next building. And, as doggies the world over like nothing better than to leave their paw prints in concrete, MsDD will be taking them for a very long walk.
And the reason for my early start tomorrow? The Boywonder is on his way home:
I sympathise re the busy day, sweetie …
But, oh you must be so excited about the homecoming. BW will have so many things to tell you …..what a wonderful experience he has had.
I bet you have a marvellous day tomorrow…..
Xxx
I am excited and pleased to have him back, yes, but I must say this brings back yet another set of worries which had largely removed themselves to a distance of 10,000 miles for a couple of months!
I hope that the BW has a safe flight home. Although his jetlag won’t be helped by the noise of the building work.
Sometimes in life, everything happens at once! I understand your mixed feelings but you’ll be so pleased to see your boy again.
