Bought for the wedding celebration party we hosted last year, I do adore this sleeveless Anglomania dress in black stretchy lace with a grey jersey lining. It has an evening feel and is quite dressy without looking like a ballgown. But what is with that Size XL on the label? Especially having lost some weight, I’m now a size 9-11 and definitely not XL. The largest I was before was about a 14.

By no stretch of the imagination can I be a size XL. Time, fashion people, to at least make an attempt to standardise sizes instead of making customers second guess what’s going to fit them. Stop shaming them because they are a normal size and don’t starve themselves or chain-smoke to stay child-sized.

Grr.
