I make no apology for writing yet again about a Bobbi Brown product. These posts are completely unsponsored, but I just like Bobbi’s range. The colours could be personally tailored for my Indian skin.

You’ll know that I don’t work so I don’t need to maintain a completely polished glossy look all the time. Nonetheless, old habits die hard, and running out of the house non maquillée is just not on for me. Elsewhere on this blog is the compact foundation but that has a matt look to it that is rather unnatural in the summer.

For the last couple years, I’ve used Bobbi’s SPF 25 tinted moisturising balm but I’ve found a) that the strong SPF makes my eyes water and b) that, whilst it does give my face a pleasingly dewy halo, the balm is just too heavy and possibly comedogenic when combined with my Indian combination skin.

At last I’ve found a solution that I’m raving about. Still a tinted moisturiser, but with a slightly less strong SPF and an oil free formulation. It’s brilliant. I love it. The SPF 15 Tinted Moisturiser Oil Free, is very light but still gives me the dewy yet polished look I crave in the summer, whilst giving a degree of sun protection WITHOUT watery eyes. It comes in 7 yellow-based colours and costs £27 for a 50ml squeeze tube. I use the Medium to Dark tone colour and apply it with a foundation brush. Not cheap but the dewiness lasts all day. Lovely.
